Exciting News @ Creechurch!
2011 has been a really busy year at Creechurch and we have some more exciting news to share with you as we begin 2012.
PlatinumPlus Management Liability Policies
As of January 1st we’ve begun using our new management liability (D&O) wordings. We have three new policy forms in our new PlatinumPlus suite for Public Companies, Private Companies and Not-for-Profit Organizations. Each wording, available in both English and French, is tailored to the specific needs of these entities and provides market leading coverage enhancements. MediaTech Privacy and Cyber Enhancements
Our MediaTech Errors and Omissions Policy designed for Information Technology and Media companies is already one of the best in Canada and we’re pleased to advise that we’ve made it even better! We now offer two new enhancements available by endorsement for eligible companies: Privacy Breach Coverage including notification costs and credit monitoring, and First Party Computer Security Coverage including data protection, business interruption and cyber extortion. Tekpac and TekpacPLUS now offers the MediaTech Wording
Because we think that the Creechurch MediaTech wording is one of the best products available, we’re now offering it to all Tekpac package policies effective January 1st. Coverages now extend to Media type exposures such as libel, slander, product disparagement, interference with the right of publicity, infringement of copyright and misappropriation of trade secret. We can also extend coverage for Privacy Breach and First Party Computer Security by endorsement.
Enhanced Commission on our Sports & Leisure business
On January 1st we began offering 17.5% commission on all Sports & Leisure liability new business. Didn’t know we wrote Sports and Leisure? Speak with our S&L underwriter to find out more.

- Junior Resource D&O: We’ve been writing D&O for start-up companies from the beginning so we’ve taken this underwriting approach and applied it to junior mining and oil & gas companies who face similar challenges.
